CallAGuy provides AI-generated informational guidance about home repairs and contractor pricing. It is not professional, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed contractor, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, or engineer.
Fair-price ranges are AI-generated estimates of typical United States pricing. They are not drawn from a live regional pricing database, and they are not a quote, guarantee, appraisal, or adjudication of any contractor's estimate. Actual local prices vary substantially by market, season, and scope. Use the ranges to inform a conversation, not to conclude one.
You may only upload photos, videos, and documents you own or have the right to use. You keep all rights to your content; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. CallAGuy does not retain your content on its own servers after processing. Our AI provider retains submissions for a limited period — see the Privacy Policy for details and limits.
No unlawful use, no attempting to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, no uploading content that infringes others' rights.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CallAGuy and its operator are not liable for property damage, injury, financial loss, or other damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its guidance. The service is provided "as is" without warranties.
Paid features, if any, are billed through Apple and governed by Apple's terms; manage or cancel in your App Store settings.
You must be at least 13 years old to use CallAGuy, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. If you are under 18, use it only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AgentSurge LLC from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, content you upload that you did not have the right to upload, or repair work you choose to perform. This does not apply to claims caused by our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Talk to us first. If you have a problem, email support@callaguy.ai with a description of the issue and what you would like us to do. We will try to resolve it informally. Please give us 30 days before starting a formal proceeding — most things are fixable without one.
Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve it informally, you and AgentSurge LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to CallAGuy or these terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration is less formal than a lawsuit, uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury, and allows more limited discovery. The arbitrator can award the same individual relief a court could. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
No class actions. Disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity. You and we each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court and the rest of this section still applies to all other claims.
You can opt out. This arbitration agreement is not a condition of using CallAGuy. You may opt out by emailing support@callaguy.ai with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out", from the address you use with the service, within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out will not affect your use of the app in any way.
Costs. Where the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules require us to pay the filing and arbitrator fees for consumer claims, we will pay them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Where a dispute is not subject to arbitration, it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and we each consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any consumer-protection right you have under the laws of the place where you live.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continuing to use CallAGuy after that means you accept them. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
